My Veggie Gardening Essentials

I use these in my gardens and mini-orchard, filled with dwarf fruit and ornamental trees.

High quality, sturdy and deep, weatherproof resin garden beds. Just pop in the legs and you're done.

I have 14 so far - 8 are filled with strawberry plants. Short shade-loving plants (like ground cover, small ferns, ivy and hosta) can be grown in the space underneath. If you're not growing vining plants in these, small, ornamental potted annuals look pretty. Store your small pots and gardening supplies underneath. Planting in rows in-ground wastes a lot of space. I get 15 plants in each, more closely-planted using the square foot or staggered method rather than growing in rows. "Daughters" that trail to the ground are tacked down with landscape fabric anchors to root new plants.

6 larger compartments, Drainage tray bottom, adjustable and optional includes humidity
vents.  Larger and healthier seedlngs, avoid the up-sizing and transplant shock.

They include 2 little tools for planting seed and popping the plants out easily.
I found these on Amazon. No more flimsy little peat pots.
These are great little greenhouses and they look nice.
Hydroponics - Aerogarden

I got one as a gift. It sits neatly on my desk, and takes very little room.
Strong, adjustableheight Grow Light, circulating pump, auto-refill reminder and timer.
These come in different sizes. I grow 6 kitchen herb plants at a time from seed in this germinator.
Plants grew much faster and bigger from seed in water, than using any other method.
The little seed sponges labels and cages are replaceable.
Great for snipping kitchen herbs. Plants can be transplanted into soil.
